INFO: Sharing Participant Calendars

CareHub does not support direct calendar sharing with external users or patient portal functionality due to HIPAA compliance and system architecture limitations. The system is designed for internal staff access only, with no built-in features for external sharing or participant access.

The recommended approach for sharing participant scheduling information is to use the Real-Time Scheduling Data Download feature:

• Navigate to Scheduling > Center Calendar
• Access the Download option in the Actions menu

• Filter the data by specific participants before downloading

• Generate a downloadable report that can be manually shared with appropriate parties

This method provides controlled access to participant scheduling information without compromising system security or creating unauthorized user access.

Q: Can participants access CareHub directly to view their calendars?

A: No, CareHub does not have functionality to limit which participants a user can access, and there is no patient portal interface available for external access.

Q: Are other PACE organizations sharing calendars directly from CareHub?

A: We are not aware of any participants having direct access to CareHub. Organizations looking to share calendar information should use the Real-Time Scheduling Data Download approach.

Q: Can I email calendars directly from CareHub?

A: CareHub does not have built-in email sharing features for calendars. You'll need to download the scheduling data and share it manually through your preferred communication method.

Q: Are there any other options we can use?
