This help article outlines the participant status categories used in CareHub. These statuses help track a participant’s stage in the enrollment lifecycle and ensure accurate reporting and workflow management.
Active
Definition: Enrollment completed.
Description: Participants marked Active have successfully completed all steps of enrollment and are currently enrolled in the program
Deactivated

Description: This status reflects that a participant’s enrollment has ended permanently. Once a participant is marked Deactivated, they cannot return to an active program status.
Disenrolling
Definition: Participant is in the process of being disenrolled; they do not yet have an end date in the system.
Description: Participants marked Disenrolling are transitioning out of the program. The disenrollment process has begun, but the participant has not officially been marked inactive with an end date.
Enrolling
Definition: Participant is in the process of being enrolled; they are not yet Active and do not have a start date in the system.
Description: Participants in Enrolling status have initiated enrollment but have not yet completed all required steps. They will transition to Active once enrollment is finalized.
Inactive
Definition: Participant is Disenrolled or Not Enrolled; status may be voluntary or involuntary. The participant can re-enroll.
Description: The Inactive status reflects that a participant is not currently enrolled in the program. This may occur due to voluntary withdrawal, involuntary termination, or the participant never having completed enrollment. Participants in Inactive may return and re-enroll.
