Weight Trend Reporting and Percentage-Based Change Analysis
🔍 Overview
CareHub currently captures weight data through clinical EMR integration but does not offer built-in weight trend reporting with percentage-based threshold analysis.
PACE orgs seeking to track participant weight changes over time periods or identify significant fluctuations (such as 5% changes in one month or 7.5% changes over three months) can access raw weight data for external analysis while product enhancements are under development. Raw data is available via files.com, which may not be accessible to all users.
🔑 Solution
- Access raw weight data through the Files.com SFTP export functionality at the path
/db_share/db_share_elation__vitaland/db_share/db_share_elation__patient- The db_share_elation__vital file will contain a column for ID, Weight, Weight Units, and Documented Date
- The db_share_elation__patient file will contain columns for the participants' ID, First Name, and Last Name
- Merge or match the two files on the ID column, this way, you will end up with a single file that contains the first and last name of the participant along with the dates that their weights were documented
- Create custom calculations in your preferred analysis tool to identify percentage-based weight changes over your desired time periods
⚠️ Important Notes
While dedicated weight trend reporting is not currently available in CareHub, raw weight data can be accessed via Files.com SFTP export for custom analysis.
